Oshwal College Student Organization(OCSA)

The main role of Oshwal College Student Association (OCSA) is to promote the interests of the college and the involvement of students in the affairs of the college, in co-operation with the board, staff and administration.

To enhance the advancement of student life, student participation and learning outcomes.

Mission

Encourage total involvement and participation in artistic, academic, and athletic activities, and create student enthusiasm in college affairs.

This would be achieved by:

Fostering communication between the students, staff, and administration Uphold a safe and positive learning environment for all students and staff Build and maintain a tradition of excellence through innovation and creative pursuits.

Objectives

  1. To represent the student body in all matters pertaining to the betterment of the college.
  2. To foster communication among students, administrators, and the staff.
  3. To promote, organize and execute activities that develop students’ skills-set and promote a collegial spirit.
  4. To instil democratic ideals, provide an outlet for student expression, and a forum for aiding in the resolution of any unattended student issues.

Structure

All students in college are members of Oshwal College Students Association. However the leadership is composed of a President, a Vice President, a Secretary, a Treasurer and a specified number of members.
